Born in New Jersey and raised in Douglasville, Georgia, Saniya Griffin, MBA, CPT, CES, CNC is a woman whose life embodies resilience, authenticity, and transformation. From braiding hair at 12 to leading teams and managing national health programs, her journey is rooted in faith, purpose, and growth.

While earning her degree in Communication at Kennesaw State University, Saniya discovered her natural gift for leadership — founding XMT: Xtreem Modeling Team and serving as Event Director for the Kennesaw Activities Board (KAB). She also worked in retail management, where she developed a passion for fashion, business, and helping others feel confident from the inside out.

After graduating, she built a strong foundation in project and program management, first at Emory Healthcare and later with the Epilepsy Foundation’s Learning Healthcare System (ELHS), where she led national initiatives to improve patient outcomes and equity. During this time, she earned her MBA in Strategic Thinking and Innovation and later her certifications in personal training, nutrition, and corrective exercise — merging her professional skills with her personal transformation journey.

Today, Saniya is a full-time entrepreneur, running two purpose-driven brands:

 

• Sherrell Hair Designs — a modern, relaxed space where women feel beautiful, valued, and empowered through the art of authenticity.

• Get Fit With Niya — a holistic wellness brand helping women heal, strengthen, and transform their bodies and minds from the inside out.

 

Above all, Saniya is most proud of being Marcus’s mom — her daily reminder of love, strength, and legacy. Everything she builds is grounded in the belief that with faith, discipline, and authenticity, you can transform your entire life.
